so one of my regulars comes in and she was wearing a cute dress, so i told her i liked it. she started complaining about how she felt ugly because of her c-section and i was like, “well i think you’re gorgeous.” she replied, “i would be to you.”
like damn, i just got called ugly when i tried to be nice. :|
